Involve vs Implicate

Involveimplicate mean to bring a person or thing into circumstances or a situation from which he or it is not easily freed.

Involve (see also INCLUDE ) need not impute disgrace to the circumstances or situation but it usually implies complication or entangling and often suggests extreme embarrassment.

Implicate usually implies a disgraceful connection or one that casts a reflection on a person’s reputation; it may even imply definite proof of association with a crime.
