Bring vs Take vs Fetch

Bring, take, fetch are comparable but not interchangeable when used in the sense of to convey from one place to another.

Bring implies carrying, leading, or transporting from a distance to the point where the speaker or agent is or will be; take, a carrying, leading, or conducting to a point away from the one where the speaker or agent is or will be; thus, a mother asks her boy setting out for school to take a note to the teacher and to bring home a reply; a farmer takes his cattle to the market and brings back a supply of sugar, flour, and fresh meat.

Fetch implies going to a place where something is to be found, getting it, and bringing it back to the starting point.
